How we calculate your company's usage
Learn how to track your company's usage limits across signed contracts, uploaded documents, and templates. All metrics reflect the combined activity of your entire team.
Locate your usage breakdown
To monitor your shared company limits, check your account settings.
Navigate to your Company Settings.
Select the Subscription tab.
Review the Usage breakdown section to view your current company-wide counts.
Only Company Users with enabled "Manage company" and "Manage subscription" settings will be able to view the Subscription and Usage breakdown details.

For Users without these permissions toggled on, the overview will look like this:

Understanding your metrics
Your total usage is calculated by aggregating the activity of all active members in your company account.
Contracts signed: We count any document fully signed using Contractbook signature methods by an active company member. This shared limit resets automatically at the start of your next subscription term.
Contracts uploaded: We track all PDFs your team uploads (via AI import, standard upload, or automation) over the lifetime of your account. This limit does not reset at renewal, but you can free up space by deleting older uploaded contracts.
Templates: We tally the total number of templates your team creates or uploads. This is also a lifetime count that only decreases when you delete a template from the system.
Note on "Sign a PDF": Documents processed using the "Sign a PDF" feature count toward your yearly Contracts signed limit, rather than your lifetime uploaded contracts limit.
