Extended data field capabilities in automations

• It is no longer necessary to choose a specific template or contract to access data field variables in automations.
  • Any data field can now be referenced even when Every contract/Any contract is selected under your automation trigger event.
• Creating distinct automation for each of your templates to utilize their specific data fields is no longer required. 
• Here are all the triggers and actions that support this new feature:
  • Contract is signed.
  • Document is sent for signature.
  • Task is done.
  • Task due date is reached.
  • Data field updated.
  • Data field date is reached.
  • Draft is created.
  • Draft is updated.
  • Share a document.
  • Send for signature.
  • Move to a private folder.
  • Add to a shared folder.

How can I use the new data field automations?

•  Default "Expiration reminder task" automation

As an example, now you can automatically create expiration reminder tasks in your team owner's automation builder when an "Expiry date" data field is updated on any of your contracts.

• Creating this default automation on your team owner's account ensures that no team member would ever miss a vital contract expiration anymore. 
• The default data field automation workflow can be applied to any other important data field for your team's procedures.
